I certainly don’t regret using one of the last pages of a defunct and beloved watercolor paper to sketch only in ink…but you can click on the image and see in context what I do regret.
Love the mind-image of you shuffle stepping. I wanted to be a choreographer when I grew up but my mother pulled me out of dance class after a couple months. She didn’t like the drive or the costume making. But I went to a Barre class workout for seniors yesterday – a taste of my old aspirations…
I’m sorry your mom didn’t support that love of dancing and choreography you had as a child, but I am so thrilled to hear that you have dipped back into the dance world with that class. I hope it brings you great joy. I think the wonderful thing about movement is that it creates flow and momentum, but as a dancer you learn to control that flow and momentum and I believe that skill is something you then can apply to other creative activities, including drawing! Dance on!!!
.💙You are Simply Wonderful!💙
Thank you for this post.
Thanks for getting it Georgy.
